Important: Quit is a support and motivation tool. The App is not a medical product, does not replace consultation with a physician or psychologist, and is not intended for the treatment of addictions.
By downloading, installing or using the Quit mobile application, you agree to these Terms of Use and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and Sole Proprietor Hanenko Oleksandr Anatoliyovych ("we", "us") governing your use of the Quit mobile application and the related website at https://quitapp.top (together - the "Service").
You may use Quit if you are at least 13 years old (16 in certain EU jurisdictions). If you are under the age of majority in your country, you may use the App only with verifiable parental or guardian consent.
Quit grants you a non-exclusive, limited, revocable license to use the App solely for personal, non-commercial purposes on Apple devices you control, in accordance with the App Store rules.
Actual pricing for your region is shown inside the App before purchase. Prices may differ from those listed above depending on App Store pricing in your country and ongoing promo offers.
Subscriptions auto-renew. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can cancel a subscription via Apple ID Settings → Subscriptions. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase the subscription early.
Lifetime is a one-time, non-renewing purchase that unlocks all current Pro features forever for the Apple ID that made the purchase. Restore Purchases is available inside the App and via the App Store.
Prices may differ by region according to App Store pricing rules. We reserve the right to change Pro feature composition or prices for future periods with notice as required by Apple rules. After a subscription ends, your local data remains on the device - access is reduced to free-plan features only.
Subscription management and refunds follow Apple's App Store rules. All sales are final and non-refundable except where required by law. For refund requests, contact reportaproblem.apple.com - we technically cannot process App Store refunds.
By using Quit, you agree:
Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of access, removal of content and - in serious cases - referral to law-enforcement authorities.
Quit is not a medical app. Content in the App is for informational and motivational purposes only. Quit does not provide medical advice, does not diagnose and does not treat addictions. For serious addictions (alcohol, drugs, etc.) please consult a qualified specialist.
Quit is not a substitute for professional medical, psychiatric, psychological or addiction-counselling assistance. If you have suicidal thoughts, are in a crisis state or are facing a serious addiction - consult a qualified specialist or call your country's emergency services. The "SOS" feature in the App offers only general breathing and grounding exercises and is NOT a crisis hotline.
Streak certificates issued in Quit are exclusively decorative achievement artifacts. They are NOT official medical or legal documents, are not issued by any governmental, medical or licensing body and do not confirm any medical or rehabilitative status.
Use of any content in Quit is at your own risk. We do not guarantee that Quit will help you quit any habit, achieve a specific health outcome or prevent relapse.
The Quit App, including its design, code, text, graphics and all other elements, is owned by Sole Proprietor Hanenko Oleksandr Anatoliyovych and/or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual-property laws. No rights other than the limited license described in section 2 are granted to you.
Apple®, iOS®, HealthKit®, CloudKit®, App Store®, Siri® and Face ID® are trademarks of Apple Inc. Google®, Firebase® and AdMob® are trademarks of Google LLC.
Quit uses Apple iCloud infrastructure (including CloudKit Public Database for Leaderboard and CloudKit Private Database for iCloud Sync and iCloud Backup features available to Pro subscribers). Control over your Apple ID, encryption and storage of iCloud data belongs entirely to Apple Inc., not to Sole Proprietor Hanenko Oleksandr Anatoliyovych. We have no access to your Apple ID, do not store passwords for it and do not control iCloud infrastructure. Subscriptions are processed by Apple StoreKit and the RevenueCat platform as a technical processor.
The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including (without limitation) warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement of third-party rights. We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, absence of errors or any specific result from using the App.
You are solely responsible for backing up your data using the Export feature in the App or your device backup - we do not guarantee that your data will not be lost.
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of certain warranties - in that case such limitations apply only to the maximum extent permitted by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither Sole Proprietor Hanenko Oleksandr Anatoliyovych nor its employees, agents or licensors shall be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages (including lost profits, lost data or loss of reputation) arising in connection with the use or inability to use the Service - even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our aggregate liability under these Terms and/or in connection with the Service is limited to the greater of: (a) the amount you actually paid us for the Service during the 12 (twelve) months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 10 (ten). This provision is a fundamental term of the agreement - without it we could not offer the App at its existing price (including the entirely free plan for non-Pro users). In jurisdictions where such limitation is not allowed by law, liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages - in that case some of these limitations may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (in particular for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or fraud).
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it and cancelling your subscription.
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately, with or without notice, for breach of these Terms, fraudulent behavior (e.g. Leaderboard manipulation, attempts to bypass subscription) or behavior that we, at our sole discretion, deem harmful to other users, to us or to third parties.
Termination of access does not release you from the obligation to cancel an active subscription via App Store - subscriptions purchased through Apple are managed and cancelled exclusively via your Apple ID settings. Pro-rata refunds for forced termination are not provided except where required by law; refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with section 3.
We reserve the right to change these Terms. We will notify of material changes through an in-app notice at least 30 days before they take effect where practically possible. Continued use of the App after notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms - stop using the App and cancel your subscription before the effective date.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ukraine, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through negotiation, and failing agreement - in the courts of Ukraine at the place of registration of Sole Proprietor Hanenko Oleksandr Anatoliyovych, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
Users residing in the EU/EEA or the United Kingdom retain the right to mandatory consumer protections under the law of their country of residence regardless of the chosen jurisdiction - nothing in this section limits such rights.
Because the App is distributed via the Apple App Store, the following provisions apply. Apple Inc. ("Apple") is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
"User Content" means any content you create, upload or display through Quit, including habits, attempts, diary entries, voice memos, certificate name fields, usernames and Leaderboard profile fields.
Your rights. You retain all ownership rights in your User Content.
License to us. For User Content replicated to a server we operate (currently: CloudKit public-profile records for Leaderboard, and CloudKit private-database records for iCloud Sync / iCloud Backup for Pro subscribers), you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, display, transmit and create technical derivatives solely as necessary to operate and improve the Service. We claim no other rights and do not use User Content for marketing.
Your representations. You warrant that (a) you own all necessary rights to your User Content; (b) your content does not infringe any third-party rights; (c) your content does not violate any law or these Terms.
Leaderboard and moderation. Leaderboard is an opt-in feature. You may report abusive names or profiles via the in-app "Report" action; we review such reports at our discretion and may hide or remove a public record, suspend access, or take no action - without obligation to explain our decision. You may at any time remove a user from your friends list, which hides your ranking from them.
Optional sharing of certificate name with the Quit team. When issuing a certificate you have a dedicated "Help us celebrate you" toggle, off by default. By activating it, you voluntarily and knowingly transmit your first name, last name and optional middle name to Firebase Analytics so the Quit team can acknowledge your achievement. You may leave this toggle off - in that case only an irreversible hash of your name is sent for counting unique certificates.
Certificates - not a legal document. Certificates issued by Quit are decorative achievement artifacts. They are NOT official legal or medical documents and do not confirm any medical, rehabilitative or legal status. The name you enter in a certificate field is provided at your own responsibility - we do not verify accuracy of data.
Content removal. We may, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, remove, refuse to display or restrict access to any User Content that we believe violates these Terms, applicable law or third-party rights, or for which we have received a credible takedown request.
